My story
From dog lover to trusted trainer
I've been working with dogs and their owners in Herts/Essex for 9 years, and it all started with my own dog — a rescue who came with more than a few challenges. I quickly discovered that patience, consistency, and reward-based methods could transform even the most anxious or difficult dog into a confident, happy companion.
That experience led me to train professionally, I trained with the IMDT and I haven't looked back. Over the years I've worked with hundreds of dogs — from tiny puppies taking their first steps into the world, to older dogs with deep-rooted behavioural issues. Every single one has taught me something new.
I set up Lead and Succeed because I wanted to offer training that's genuinely tailored to you and your dog, delivered without judgment, and grounded in the latest science on how dogs actually learn. No gimmicks, no harsh methods — just calm, clear guidance that gets real results.

I believe that every dog — regardless of breed, age, or history — has the capacity to learn and to thrive. The key is understanding how they think, what motivates them, and what they need to feel safe. My approach is always calm, always positive, and always at your dog's pace. I never use punishment or force. I never rush. And I always make sure you leave each session feeling confident about what to do next.
